At Brooks, we know we make the best running gear in the world, and we are willing to stand behind that belief with a return policy to match.
Brooks offers the Run Happy Promise - a promise that you'll love your gear, and if you don't we will take it back for 30 days after purchase. Run in it, sweat in it, inside, outside, in the rain - if it doesn't perform the way it should, send it back. All items for return are subject to evaluation and assessment by our team.
Unworn items can be returned for one full year from the date of purchase.
Please note that the expected lifespan of performance running shoes is 400-800 kilometres, which can vary based on weather, surface, temperature, etc. Running shoes are designed and manufactured for forwards linear movement, so other uses (for example, other sports which may require lots of lateral movement) may result in wear that is unexpected.
How do I return an item?
To start a return, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. We will not accept any items for return without prior notification.
How do I process an exchange?
Brooks has one focus - the run. To that end, we want to make sure that everything we do is in service of getting you the gear you need and back to running quickly - and there’s nothing fast about a traditional exchange process.
You’ll always have 30 days to swap out a shoe if it’s not working for you. To do this, send us an email at email@example.com and our representative will email you on the next process.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your item, and we will let you know if the refund is approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please take note that crediting of refund may take days depending on your bank account.
How can I check the status of my return?

Once your package is delivered, we will process the return in 3-5 working days and you’ll receive an email confirming the return process.
